THE PROCESS YOUR PART GOES THROUGH TO GET TO THE END PRODUCT
PREPARATION PHASE:
All parts endure a preparation phase in which the parts are sanded down until they have a rough feel to them, this is to allow for paints to effectively stick to the part. The time this phase takes varies depending on what paint / material is on the part at that time.

PRIMER PHASE:
After the preparation phase we start the primer phase, we spray a multi surface 2k primer to your part – this causes the paint applied after this phase to be incredibly durable. The application of primer is vital to the success of all the following steps.

BASE COAT PHASE:
Following the primer phase, we come to the base coat phase – in this section we spray paint your part the appropriate color, most of our Hydro Films are transparent or have a transparent effect, the base coat color is the deciding factor on the style / look of your product after the dip phase.

DIPPING PHASE:
After the base coat phase we scuff your part again, then we reach the dipping phase. In this phase your part gets submerged through water – this is where we transfer the pattern of your choice onto your part. Our activator burns the print into the base coat, ensuring the endurance and durability of the product will be effectively high but it only reaches maximum durability during the clear coat phase.

CLEAR COAT PHASE:
This is the final phase of the process, the clear coat phase – In this phase we add 3 coats of clear coat to the part, this gives the part the same durability as car paint, it can be applied to make the part look glossy – satin – or matte. This gives your product the “wow” factor. Our clear coat is anti scratch and anti chip. After this phase we leave the part to dry for 1-3 days.
